• BRAD BUTCHER – Approved Promotional Material Here!

When your hear people talk about Brad Butcher as an Australian Songwriter or more importantly as a person the same few words are thrown around … Honest, Hardworking, Mate, Genuine, and Brad is now receiving the accolades he so richly deserves being awarded the GOLDEN GUITAR for QANTASLINK NEW TALENT OF THE YEAR at the 2018 Golden Guitar Awards of Australia.

Brad Butcher’s third studio album, FROM THE BOTTOM OF A WELL (Spotify Link) was recorded with highly acclaimed and multi award winning Australian producer Matt Fell, at Sydney’s Love Hz Studio, and encompasses Butchers take on an evolving country music landscape to create a sound that is uniquely his.

2017 has been a breakout year for Butcher who released his third album in August to wide spread praise from the Australian music industry. The album peaked at #4 on the iTunes Country Albums Chart and features the singles Well Dressed Man and title track From The Bottom Of A Well.

The Queensland singer songwriter picked up a total of THREE nominations at the 2018 GOLDEN GUITAR AWARDS including – Male Artist of the Year, Alternative Country Album of The Year and QANTASLINK New Talent Of The Year.

In today’s digital age, an ‘Aussie” artist like Brad Butcher is part of a dying breed. You see Brad isn’t about writing to please a certain demographic nor aiming for fame or fortune. Brad is about telling his story in the only way he knows, with honesty, in his unique writing quality and with a refreshing view of his world. Above all though, Brads songs share a message of hope and inspiration within, that most modern songwriters fail to communicate.

FROM THE BOTTOM OF A WELL (Spotify Link) cements Butcher at the forefront of a new generation of Australian story tellers.

“there’s a comfort here that isn’t familiarity, rather a sense of things being in their right place. And that it happened easily, naturally.”  ~ Bernard Zuel

“I always look forward to hearing a new Brad Butcher album – knowing he will be moving forward musically and lyrically – it won’t be the same as the last – that’s what a true artist does – is faithful to their creative spirit and vision – and by so doing they carve out a place in the market that is theirs and theirs alone. Well Dressed Man is pure Brad Butcher and it ticks all the above boxes for me – so I’m eagerly anticipating the rest of the Album”  ~  Graeme Connors – 14 x Golden Guitar Winner

“I felt like i was hearing a record that James Taylor and John Hiatt decided to make together… with Rodney Crowell’s backing band. Great songs, vocal delivery and sound.” ~ Marc Swersky – Grammy Award Winning Producer / Songwriter
