Enjoy a free family friendly concert at the Mt Coot-tha Songwriters Festival. The festival stage feature six hours of non-stop original entertainment from South East Queensland’s finest blues, roots, folk, country and acoustic songwriters in the cool and lush Brisbane Botanic Gardens nestled in the hills at the base of Mt Coot-tha.

Curating the inaugural event is Queensland born-and-bred musician 8 Ball Aitken.

“We have plenty of talented musicians and songwriters right here in South-East Queensland and it is my goal to highlight the best that our region has to offer, all in a family-friendly environment where people of all generations can come to the mountain with a picnic, and spend a sunny Sunday afternoon enjoying the music.“

You can catch the full lineup of original blues, roots, country, & folk musicians performing on the Bandstand at the Brisbane Botanic Gardens, Mount Coot-tha on Sunday, 28 May, 2017 from 11am to 5pm. Best of all, entry is free.
